drivetrain. Just because a car has high mileage, that doesn't mean it's a bad choice. Check the maintenance records. If the car has 160k miles but has a new engine, tranny, paint job, etc... then it's a good deal. See if the person was meticulous with oil changes, timing belt service. Check to see if the turbos leak. Have a mechanic check out the car if possible, one who knows Zs. If the owner is a teenage kid, then you can probably be sure that they beat on the car. Especially if the car has a lot of upgrades. Definitely look into buying a car that hasn't been modified. Sometimes people use aftermarket parts because they are cheaper than OEM. There are a lot of variables. Definitely nice though if someone has all their maintenance records and receipts

I eat rice, I don't put rice on my car!
